State Auditor Jim Zeigler was the guest speaker Tuesday at the Wetumpka Rotary Club meeting at the Wind Creek Hotel inside the Wind Creek Casino. Zeigler spoke to the members about the investigations surrounding Governor Robert Bentley's impeachment process. He has asked the House Judiciary Committee to report at least one impeachment article against Governor Bentley before or during the August 15th special session. Zeigler says the people of Alabama want the impeachment investigation to make progress, saying if an impeachment solution isn't brought out of the Judiciary Committee in time for the special session, the full House would have to wait until February 7th for the regular session to take consideration.
