Wettest December in Montgomery

The National Weather Service reports that December of 2015 was the wettest and warmest on record for the city of Montgomery.  Montgomery officially recorded 14.1 inches of rainfall for the month.  That's over three inches more than the previous record set in 1961.  The rainfall for a typical December in the Capital city is almost five inches.  The average temperature for the month was 59.2, just a smidgen higher than the 59.1 set back in 1889.
