Union Springs Man Killed Trying to Breakup Fight

A Union Springs man was killed as he tried to break up a fight between two women.  Authorities have told WSFA that 54-year-old Jobie Adams was stabbed by his girlfriend, 27-year-old Crystal Thomas as she fought with another woman at a home on Peachburg Road in Union Springs.  Thomas has been charged with murder, attempted murder and reckless endangerment.  She is being held in the Bullock County Jail on $150,000 bond.  The intended target of the stabbing received minor injuries.
