Nina Simone Screening This Weekend

WVAS Radio is hosting a screening of the documentary "The Amazing Nina Simone" this Saturday in Montgomery.  The critically acclaimed movie chronicles the life of the musical legend and activist through more than 50 interviews with the people that knew her.  A reception begins at 3 p.m. at the Capri Theatre on Fairview Avenue, followed by the presentation of the film at 4.  Tickets are $10 and can be purchased in advance or at the door.  For more information about the event, call (334) 229-4708 or (334) 229-5074.
