Montgomery Participates in the "Week of the Young Child"

This has been "Week of the Young Child" in Montgomery.  The week of activities was highlighted Thursday during Mayor Todd Strange's weekly press briefing.  The focus has been on improving early learning opportunities for young children.  The mayor also used his platform to promote the Joy to Life annual Walk for Breast Cancer.  Marketing Director for the Joy to Life Foundation Denise Green says the lion's share of its donations come from Saturday's event which is scheduled for 8:30 a.m. in downtown Montgomery.
