Jefferson County Commissioner Seeks 7th District Congressional Seat

Birmingham, Alabama – Jefferson County Commissioner Shelia Smoot is officially running to serve Alabama 7th Congressional District.

The seat is currently held by Representative Artur Davis of Birmingham who is campaigning for Governor.

Smoot has served the Jefferson County Commission since 2002. She is a former reporter for television station WBRC in Birmingham.
