By Dought Monitor: All of Ala under drought condition
Montgomery, AL – All parts of Alabama are now under some
degree of drought.
The U.S. Drought Monitor report this week shows southwest
Alabama and part of east-central Alabama under extreme drought
conditions. Nine percent of the state is listed as extreme, more
than twice what it was last week.
The Drought Monitor issued Thursday shows only Louisiana with
drought conditions worse than Alabama's.
