Area Military Personnel Help Schools Prepare for Opening

Montgomery,Alabama –
Over the weekend, military personnel and volunteers grabbed paint brushes and mops;they worked to help make some Montgomery Public Schools ready for the upcoming school year.

Nancy Beggs with the Montgomery Chamber of Commerce says the effort is part of a common goal: helping area schools during a tough economy.
