Montgomery, Alabama – Montgomery police are still looking for suspects in two separate murders committed within a days time. 32 year old Joel Warren was shot to death and another man wounded around 4:30 a.m. Wednesday morning outside the Peddlers Inn on the West South Boulevard.
Montgomery Police Lt. Mark Drinkard says they're not sure what started the argument that turned deadly.

Prattville, Alabama – An alleged murder for hire case out of Autauga County is being sent back to a lower court. 32 year old Shana R. Cromwell is charged with trying to hire a hit man to kill her ex husband.
Cromwell was arrested last June and indicted last November. An Autauga County Circuit Court Judge dismissed the charges, but the Autauga County District Attorney's Office appealed the ruling and the state's criminal appeals court overturned the decision sending it back to the lower court.
Montgomery, Alabama – (AP) - Some key legislators say they may pass a resolution later this week to have the Retirement Systems of Alabama do a detailed financial study of the prepaid college tuition plan. Senate Budget Committee Chairman Roger Bedford of Russellville says that will provide needed information on how big the problems are. State Treasurer Kay Ivey says that's not enough. Ivey is the leader of the board that oversees the plan. She says the tuition plan needs an infusion of cash.
