WVAS Town Hall and Block Party All Set

The "Taking It To The Streets" town hall and block party is set for Wednesday in Montgomery. The free event features a mix of city officials, community leaders and members of law enforcement. There will also be a question and answer session. WVAS-FM is hosting the event along with partners 97.9 JAMZ, That's My Dog restaurant and the Public Safety Department at Alabama State University. The anti-violence forum is being held at the corner of West Jeff Davis Avenue and Pleasant Avenue. The town hall begins at 6pm with the block party to follow.
