November 24,2008 – Gas prices continue to drop just in time for Thanksgiving motorists who will be hitting the roadways this week. AAA Alabama is reporting Monday's fuel prices ringing up at 1.87 per gallon statewide.

Speculation abounds over who will run for Mayor of Montgomery. More than 2 dozen names are floating about concerning those who might possibly run for Mayor of Montgomery. Montgomery Mayor Bobby Bright will take his new job in January as Congressman representing Alabama's 2nd Congressional District. The election for mayor will occur in either March or April.
