The director of the Alabama Department of Public Health's Tuberculosis division will hold a parent meeting this evening at Lee High School to answer questions concerning tuberculosis and TB testing.  State TB Director Pam Barrett said her agency has already tested dozens of people at Lee High School for the ailment.  Barrett says tuberculosis typically attacks the lungs and is treatable. 

Prattville Lawsuit

A South Korean man is suing the city of Prattville and its police department.  Al.com reports that Chang Ho Lee, an employee of the Hyundai Assembly plant, claims he was subjected to excessive force during a traffic stop in September 2012.  The lawsuit was filed in Birmingham Federal Court.  Lee claims he was roughed up and Prattville police used a taser on him while he was handcuffed.  Prattville City attorney David McDowell had no comment about the lawsuit. 

Hyundai Sales

The Hyundai car brand continues to attract hordes of buyers.  The Korean-based auto company said overall U.S. sales in June jumped two percent.  Hyundai said it sole more than 65,000 vehicle last month.  Sales were led by the popular Elantra compact and Sonata Sedan.  The two vehicles are manufactured in Montgomery.
