After days of rain, parts of the South now face the prospect of snow.  Forecasters have issued a winter storm watch for much of north Alabama and central Mississippi.  Parts of both states could get one or two inches of snow.  Forecassters say north Georgia could also get ice and snow on today.  According to the National Weather Service, a winter storm advisory for north-central and northeast Alabama will remain in effect until 7 p.m.    

Multi-Vehicle Crash

State Troopers are investigating a four-vehicle crash south of Montgomery hat left two people hospitalized.  Authorities says the crash occurred just before 4 p.m. in the northbound lanes of U.S. 231.  Troopers said a Montgomery County school bus carrying five people, a pick-up truck, an 18-wheel car hauler and a box truck collided.  The driver of the pick-up was entrapped and was later hospitalized with non-life threatening injuries.  The driver of the box truck was also hospitalized.  Authorities said none of the students on the school bus were injured. 

Life Sentence

A 38-year-old Montgomery man will spend the rest of his behind bars for a June 2009 shooting death.  Montgomery County Circuit Judge William Shashy sentenced Adrian Stewart to life without parole for killing Cornelius Thomas at a residence on Conti Lane.  A jury convicted Stewart of two counts of capital murder in December.  The Montgomery County District Attorney's Office said Stewart was already on parole for a prior murder conviction in 2005. 

Rose Supper Club

The future of the Rose Supper Club could be at stake today.  The club's liquor license will be the subject of a hearing today when the Alabama Alcoholic Beverage Control Board decides whether to permanently revoke the license.  The ABC Board is expected to hear from the club's owner as well as local law enforcement officers.  The Rose Supper Club's liquor license was suspended in December following a December 3rd shooting at the business that left six people injured.
