Montgomery police are looking for a male suspect in connection with a Monday morning shooting at a local nightclub that left six people injured.  Authorities say gunfire erupted about 1:15 a.m. Monday at the Rose Supper Club on Highland Avenue.  While six people were hit, police Lt. Regina Duckett said none of their injuries were life-threatening.  Police are asking for help locating a man whose image was captured in a surveillance video.  The Secret Witness Line is 262-4000 or you can call CrimeStoppers at 215-STOP. 

USA Lawsuit

The parents of a University of South Alabama freshman who was shot to death by campus police have filed a lawsuit over his death.  An attorney for relatives of Gil Collar said Monday the 18-year-old freshman from Wetumpka never touched the officer, and the shooting violated polices and never should have happened.  Collar was shot outside the campus police station on October 6th.  The suit was filed in Mobile County.  University of South Alabama officials declined to comment. 

New Leadership

The Montgomery County Board of Education has new leadership.  Eleanor Dawkins will serve as president of the panel while Heather Seller was elected vice president.  Both were chosen following swearing-in ceremonies Monday that included the school's board's newest member, W. Durden Dean, the former mayor of Union Springs.  The Montgomery County School Board's next meeting is set for next Tuesday at 4:30 p.m.
