Anniston police say a missing five-year-old boy has been located in another state. 

Authorities haven't released details on how they found Michiri Dabney.  But they said the boy is safe.  Police issued a nationwide Amber Alert for the boy late Sunday afternoon after his mother called to say the boy had been kidnapped from their neighborhood.

Weekend Shooting

A shooting on Carmichael Road early Sunday morning left a 20-year-old man dead.  Police said the victim's brother was among three men charged in the slaying.  Officers found Devontay Patterson suffering from multiple gunshot wounds Sunday just after 3 a.m. on Carmichael Road, he died a short time later at Jackson Hospital.  Montgomery police charged three males with felony murder, including 24-year-old Tremaine Jackson, the victim's brother, 20-year-old Ian Dunklin and 24-year old Jerome Hayes.  The three are being held at the Montgomery County Jail under a$75,000 dollar bond. 

Motorcycle Deaths

Two motorcycle riders were killed in separate crashes on Sunday.  Montgomery police said the first collision occurred Sunday morning in the 4000 block of Troy Highway involving a motorcycle rider and a car.  Police said the motorcyclist, 24-year-old Joel Saunders of Montgomery was killed.  The second traffic fatality involving a motorcycle rider occurred Sunday just before 11 a.m. at the intersection on West Fairview Avenue and Hill Street.  Montgomery police said 47-year-old Joseph Thomas Jr.  of Montgomery died when the motorcycle he was riding collided with a car. 

Impounding Vehicles

A proposed ordinance could allow Montgomery police officers to impound a vehicle if the driver has a suspended, revoked, expired or no driver's license.  The proposed city law awaits consideration by the Montgomery City Council.  Councilman Glenn Pruitt is the sponsor, he  says the driver or owner would have to pay a $200 dollar administrative fee, $75 dollars to have the vehicle towed and a $25 dollar-per-day fee to store the care at the impound lot. 

Still Waiting

More than five years have passed since a grand jury indicted former Secretary of State Nancy Worley, and she's still waiting to find out when she will be tried and on what charges.  The Democrat could face simple misdemeanor charges or more serious felony charges over campaign material she sent five of her employees in 2006. 

Gas Prices

Drivers are seeing the price at the pump climb again.  The Triple A Auto Club reports the average price of a gallon of gasoline has increased 18 cents over the past two weeks.  Triple A puts the average price for regular at $3.69 today, the statewide average price for regular is now $3.47 a gallon. 

Montgomery Memorial

The victims slain by a gunman in a Wisconsin temple were honored during a memorial in Montgomery.  The Civil Rights Memorial Center joined churches and other organizations Sunday evening to mark the attack that killed six people at a Sikh temple in Oak Creek, Wisconsin.  The gunman, Wade Michael Page, took his own life after shooting at police responding to the scene.
