Weekend Traffic Fatalities

Two fatal accidents happened in Central Alabama over the weekend.  The first occurred Friday afternoon on U.S. Highway 80 near the 185 mile marker.  State Troopers report that 18-year-old Rameshe Gabrielle Weaver of Phenix City was killed when the car she was driving collided with a tractor-trailer rig.  The driver of the truck was injured and taken to a local hospital.  On Saturday a single-vehicle wreck claimed the life of a Fort Payne man.  Authorities say an SUV overturned on I-65 North about one mile north of Prattville.  The driver, 67-year-old Ronald Bradshaw, was killed, according to police, and a passenger, 65-year-old Kaye Bradshaw was injured.  Both accidents remain under investigation.
