U.S. Department of Transportation Secretary to speak at ASU

U.S. Department of Transportation Secretary Anthony Foxx is the guest speaker today at an event to mark the 60th anniversary of the Montgomery Bus Boycott being held at Alabama State University.  His presentation is titled "Bridging the Divide: Reconnecting Communities."  ASU President Dr. Gwendolyn Boyd says another prominent voice associated with public transportation during the civil rights era will be heard.  The event is open to the public.  It begins at 1:30 p.m. at the John Garrick Hardy Student Center.
