Teenager Killed in Weekend Accident

   State Troopers are reporting that the passenger killed in a crash following a police chase Sunday morning was a 16 year old juvenile. Because of that, his name is not being released. The wreck happened as the driver of a 2005 Honda Accord refused to stop for police on Highway 110 in the Pike Road Community. Troopers say the reportedly stolen car left the roadway near the nine mile marker and ran into a ditch, overturning. The 16 year old victim was partially ejected and pronounced dead at the scene. The other occupants of the vehicle fled the scene. State Troopers are asking that anyone with information about the crash call them at 334-270-1122 or contact the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office.
