Selma Police Protest Low Wages

   Disgruntled Selma Police have been participating in a sick-out this week. The group wants better pay, safer working conditions and newer equipment. Representatives of the group met with city leaders yesterday.  No resolution was reached at the meeting. While the officers have been out with the so-called “blue flu,” personnel normally tasked with administrative work have been filling in.
