Roby Hosts CAVHCS Meeting

Alabama Congresswoman Martha Roby met Thursday with leaders of the Central Alabama Veterans Health Care System to discuss the possibility of creating a Veteran Community Health Care Network.  Roby has long advocated for more local, private care options for veteran patients.  She says contracting services with network hospitals could alleviate some of the system's most pressing issues.  Both Veterans Affairs representatives and state hospital officials were upbeat about the talks.  Plans for future meetings are already underway.
