Riley heads political action committee to fight bingo in Ala

By Governor forms PAC to fight gambling in Ala

Montgomery, AL – - Gov. Bob Rily is heading a political
action committee that has raised funds for an anti-bingo group.
The Huntsville Times reported Thursday that the PAC - called GOV
PAC - has raised and sent $138,000 to the Birmingham-based
anti-bingo organization this year.
The Times says the biggest donors to the governor's PAC are the
Drummond Company of Birmingham and Dothan businessman John Watson,
who have given $20,000 each.
Riley spokesman Jeff Emerson says the funds are not sent to the
governor but to the PAC's treasurer, Kay Craig Nimm of Chelsea, and
the PAC's official address is a post office box in Birmingham.
