Police "Sick Out" continues in Selma

The "blue flu" as its called involves several members of the Selma Police Department calling out of work "sick" in an effort to demand better pay and working conditions.  WVAS News spoke with Selma Police Chief John Brock who says he understands the frustration.  Selma's Mayor George Evans says he does not know if the end of the "sick out" is near but says Thursday's meeting provided an opportunity for officers to voice their concerns about a number of issues including more pay.  Mayor Evans says during the meeting, officers were told to put their grievances in writing.
