MPS Addresses Delay in Teachers' Pay

Hundreds of Montgomery County Public School teachers did not receive a paycheck Wednesday.  But after what is being called a "system glitch," they are still awaiting payments through direct deposit.  School Superintendent Margaret Allen has called the issue a human error and she says MPS takes full responsibility of the issue.  Allen says steps are being taken to get the delayed paychecks out to employees, including contacting banks to have funds expedited and waiving bank fees associated with the error.
