Montgomery Regional Airport Committee

The Montgomery Regional Airport has experienced substantial growth in the last two years.  However, city officials say they still battle misconceptions about the airport.  To remedy that, an Ad Hoc Airport Authority Committee of the Montgomery City Council has embarked on a campaign to change those perceptions.  Chip Gentry is the Vice President of air service development for the airport.  Gentry says the committee is also focused on keeping the 187th Fighter Wing in Montgomery and have plans to secure additional property for a second runway.
