Montgomery Police are continuing to investigate a deadly accident that occurred early Sunday morning. MPD and medics responded to the two-vehicle crash on I-85 North near South Perry Street. The driver of an SUV, 31-year-old Pedro Vazquez of Montgomery was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the other vehicle suffered life-threatening injuries and was taken to a local hospital. An initial investigation indicates the driver of the SUV was traveling southbound on I-85 North and collided with the other driver traveling northbound on I-85 North.
