Man arrested for Facebook threat seeks lower bond

By Man charged in Facebook posting asks judge for lower bond

Montgomery, AL – - A lawyer for a man whose Facebook
posting led to a shutdown at Faulkner University says his client
meant no harm and that his $500,000 bond on a charge of making a
terrorist threat should be reduced.
Faulkner security initiated a 45-minute lockdown in response to
the message on Dec. 3.
The Montgomery Advertiser reports that attorney Bill Blanchard
says the posting said, in part, "Look out, Cho's record,"
apparently referring to Seung-Hui Cho, who killed 32 people at
Virginia Tech in 2007.
Blanchard said the 22-year-old Lambert had neither the intention
nor the means to carry out what was stated.
Deputy District Attorney John Kachelman said he would argue to
keep the high bond, based on the seriousness of the message and the
danger Lambert could pose.
