Hubbard Found Guilty on 12 Felony Ethics Charges

Former speaker of the Alabama House of Representatives Mike Hubbard says he and his family are trying to come to terms with the guilty verdicts in his ethics trial.  Legislators are also considering the ripple effect conviction could create.  Republican Representative Reed Ingram of Montgomery doesn't see any loss of credibility for the Republican Party.  One possible impact could be on the ethics law itself.  Democratic Representative John Knight of Montgomery says certain exceptions within the law are too broad.  Hubbard was found guilty on 12 felony ethics charges.  Sentencing is set for July 8th.
