Historic Season For ASU Baseball

The season has ended for the Alabama State University baseball team.  The Hornets lost to South Alabama in an NCAA elimination game Saturday in the Tallahassee Regional.  The final score was 6 to 3.  The team had already lost to Florida State in its first NCAA game 18 to 6 Friday.  The loss brings to a close a historic season for the Hornets, who won their first SWAC Championship and going unbeaten in 28 conference games.  ASU also set a school record for wins with an overall record of 38 and 17.
