By Five Ala. women awaits induction into hall of fame

Montgomery, AL – (AP) - Five Alabama women, including Judson
College artist-in-residence Billie Jean Young, will be inducted
into the Southern Rural Black Women's Hall of Fame next month.
Young founded and directed the Drama Project-Child Abuse
Project, which uses improvisational drama to help women and
children identify and respond to abuse.

decades as an advocate for civil and human rights, is also among
the inductees.
