A fatal shooting at the Liberty Square Apartment complex off Troy Highway is being investigated. Officers responded to the shooting last night just after 9:30 p.m. MPD said an adult male was shot to death, the victim's name was withheld. Detectives are trying to determine the motive. No arrests have been made.
Centreville Murder
A district attorney says a homicide investigation is being conducted in Centreville where a woman was found dead Sunday afternoon. DA Michael Jackson identified the victim as Sandra Lockett. He said the victim was found dead on Fair Avenue in Centreville. Jackson said no arrests have been made.
Police Impersonator
Montgomery County Sheriff's officials say a Tennessee man is behind bars charged with invading a residence on Ray Thorington Road October 4th that left a woman injured. 49-year-old Christopher Grady was apprehended in Johnson City, Tennessee. Grady is facing multiple charges including kidnapping, robbery, burglary and impersonating a police officer. His bond is set at $135,000.
Montgomery Suspect
Police in Columbus, Georgia, say a Montgomery man is accused of kidnapping a woman at gunpoint early Sunday morning. Al.com reports that 28-year-old Jamahl Ephraim is charged with holding a 21-year-old Montgomery woman against her will at a motel in Columbus, Georgia.
