Facebook threat prompts lockdown at Faulkner Univ

By Student arrested after threat posted on Facebook

Montgomery, AL – - Police in Montgomery say a threat found
on a student's Facebook page led to a lockdown of Faulkner
University.
The Montgomery Advertiser reports Police Maj. Huey Thornton says
the threat appeared on the page of a male student who was being
questioned by police.
Thornton says other students saw the message Thursday and
alerted university officials, who sent a message through an alert
system to ensure that students took precautions.
University spokeswoman Leigh Brannan described the posting as
"very threatening" and said the university was under lockdown for
35 to 45 minutes.
Brannan said once the student was in custody, normal campus
activities were resumed.
