A member of the court considering judicial ethics charges against Alabama Chief Justice Roy Moore is stepping aside from the case. Opelika attorney John Denson filed a notice recusing himself. Denson writes he shouldn't be involved since he was part of the court when it unanimously decided to remove Moore from office in 2003. Eight other members remain on the court to consider whether Moore should be ousted again for an order he issued about same-sex marriage.
Melanie began her career as a work study student, working in the areas of news reporting, anchoring and news-gathering. Her professional achievements includes News Reporter of the Year for a number of years and awards for talk show producer, by the Alabama Broadcasters Association and the Associated Press. She is an active member of the Montgomery Area Chamber of Commerce. Her goals are to expand the reach of WVAS FM into more homes locally, regionally and nationally.
