Bentley 2nd with 2 counties out in Alabama recount

By GOP says Robert Bentley maintains lead in GOP recount

Montgomery, AL – - Robert Bentley appears headed to the
Republican runoff for governor as he leads Tim James by more than
200 votes with just two rural counties left to report in the
statewide recount.
A spokesman for James says the Greenville developer won't make a
statement until the final counties are finished Friday.
The state Republican Party says it's waiting on Greene and
Pickens counties, which have few Republican votes.
The unofficial count from the other 65 counties shows Bentley
leading by 270 votes, if the party does not include a voting place
in Mobile County where the ballots couldn't be located. The
difference is 226 votes if the original vote tally from that voting
place is counted.
James asked for the recount after trailing Bentley by 167 votes
in the June 1st primary.
