Bellamy Dances 'Risky Business' Style To Maroon 5

MICHEL MARTIN, HOST:

And now, it's time for the occasional feature we call In Your Ear. That's where guests of our program tell us about the songs they listen to for a little inspiration.

Today, we hear from comedian Bill Bellamy. We caught up with Bill in Chicago during our summer comedy series Make Me Laugh. Here's what's playing in his ear.

BILL BELLAMY: Hey, this is Bill Bellamy. The song that's in my ear right now is Adam Levine's "Moves Like Jagger."

(SOUNDBITE OF SONG, "MOVES LIKE JAGGER")

MAROON 5: (Singing) And it goes like this is. Take me by the tongue and I'll know you. Take me by the tongue. Kiss me till you're drunk and I'll show you. All the moves like Jagger...

BELLAMY: My son go crazy. We just take over "Risky Business" style dancing in his living room when this song come on. (Singing) Like, like the moves like Jagger. I got the moves like Jagger.

(LAUGHTER)

(SOUNDBITE OF SONG, "MOVES LIKE JAGGER")

5: (Singing) I've got the mooooooooves like Jagger.

BELLAMY: Oh. Another song that I'm listening to is Adele.

(SOUNDBITE OF SONG, "ROLLING IN THE DEEP")

ADELE: (Singing) There's a fire starting in my heart, reaching a fever pitch, it's bringing me out the dark. Finally...

BELLAMY: I love Adele. I love the sultry, just smoky vibe of her voice.

(SOUNDBITE OF SONG, "ROLLING IN THE DEEP")

ADELE: (Singing) See how I'll leave, with every piece of you. Don't underestimate the things that I will do. There's a fire starting in my heart, reaching a fever pitch and it's bringing me out the dark. The scars of your love remind me of us. They keep me thinking that we almost had it all. The scars...

BELLAMY: "Rolling in the Deep" is crazy. Oh.

(SOUNDBITE OF SONG, "ROLLING IN THE DEEP")

ADELE: (Singing) We could have had it all. Rolling in the deep. You had my heart inside your hand but you played it, you played it, you played it, you played it to the beat.

BELLAMY: Another song I'm listening to is Frank Ocean, "Thinking About You."

(SOUNDBITE OF SONG, "THINKING ABOUT YOU")

FRANK OCEAN: (Singing) I've been thinkin' about you. You know, know, know. I've been thinkin' about you. Do you think about me still? Do ya, do ya?

BELLAMY: I think this song is so fly. It's melodic. It's one of those easy songs that, you know, it puts you in a good mood and it really makes you appreciate love on a really nice way.

(SOUNDBITE OF SONG, "THINKING ABOUT YOU")

OCEAN: (Singing) Or do you not think so far ahead? 'Cause I been thinkin' 'bout forever. Oooh, oooh. Yes, of course, I remember, how could I forget? How you feel? How you feel.

BELLAMY: Frank, thank you, man. You killed that one.

(LAUGHTER)

(SOUNDBITE OF SONG, "THINKING ABOUT YOU")

OCEAN: (Singing) A new feel. It won't ever get old, not in my soul. Not in my spirit, keep it alive.
