The Montgomery Police Department is investing a two-vehicle crash and shooting that happened Tuesday morning. According to Lt. Denise Barnes, officers were dispatched to Clay Street near Holt Street where two vehicles crashed. One of the vehicles left the scene and arrived at a Montgomery hospital with a man suffering from a gunshot wound. Police say the shooting happened before the crash. Police are investigating the circumstances of the shooting and crash.
Vehicle Break-ins
Elmore County authorities are looking for a man and woman suspected of breaking into several vehicles at a residence. The vehicles were broken into on Dec. 7th in the Jasmine Hill community. Authorities believe the suspects immediately used the stolen cards to buy $1,000 worth of merchandise at Wetumpka Walmart. Call CrimeStoppers at 215-STOP if you have any information on this case.

Republican presidential hopeful Ted Crus brings his campaign to Alabama this weekend. The Texas senator will hold a rally at the Daphne Civic Center and 1 o'clock Saturday afternoon. He'll also have a rally at the Trussville Civic Center at 1 o'clock Sunday afternoon.
