American Graduate: "Keeping the Youth in School"

WVAS host Robb Taylor and Co-Host Victoria along with A.S.P.I.R.E. Mentors & Students.

WVAS-FM & A.S.P.I.R.E hosted a community forum on November 28, 2012 to discuss the importance of staying in school. Among the event their were students from the Montgomery school system as well as professionals within the education workforce.

A.S.P.I.R.E mentors and students includes: (Mentors) Victoria Hayward, Nikki Sheridan, Jasmine Carter, Cortez Sellers, Greg King, Janeequa Davis, Marcus Stanberry, Anthone Matthews, (Students) Dominique Wilson, Shaquera Campbell, Chanterria Streeter, Mersades Johnson, Jeremy Gaskin, Dameyune Smith, Antyon Harris, Brittany Cleveland, Tira Lewis.

Courtney Minor- Behavior Specialist at Hayneville Road Alternative School

Dr. Charlie Gibbons- Interim Dean of the College of Education at Alabama State University

Dr. Yvette Bartee- Behavioral Interventionist for Montgomery County Public School

Dr. Michael Sibley- Director of Communications for the Alabama Dept of Education

Kevin King- Program Director for Common Ground
