Alabama Group Supports Chief Justice Moore

A group calling itself the conscience of the Alabama Republican Party is supporting suspended Chief Justice Roy Moore.  The Alabama Republican Assembly calls the judicial ethics charges against Moore "politically motivated."  The group says Moore stands for traditional values.  The court will decide charges filed by the Judicial Inquiry Commission, which accused Moore of violating judicial ethics amid his opposition to same-sex marriage.  Moore is fighting the charges, which could lead to his removal from office for the second time in 13 years.
