Alabama Faces Possibility of Severe Weather

Montgomery, Alabama –
MONTGOMERY, Ala. (AP) - National Weather Service meteorologists
urge Alabamians to monitor weather conditions today.
A large storm system will move across the state in front of an
approaching cold front.
Meteorologists said the system has the potential to spawn severe
thunderstorms, heavy rain and strong gusty winds.
Isolated tornadoes are also possible.
Numerous flood watches and flood warnings have also been issued
for much of the state.
Residents are urged to monitor their weather radios or other
media outlets for the latest weather watches or warnings.
