Abortion Bill

A bill aimed at keeping minors from getting an abortion without parental consent was approved Tuesday by the Alabama House Health Committee.  The bill's sponsor, Representative Mike Jones of Andalusia, said his goal is to ensure the bill is safe from future legal challenges.  Representative Joe Hubbard of Montgomery said the bill doesn't address all of his concerns but he hopes to resolve them once the bill is presented to the full House.  This piece of legislation is one of four abortion bills approved by the House Committee Tuesday to strengthen abortion regulations.
