2016 Bridge Crossing Jubilee

The 2016 Bridge Crossing Jubilee celebrating the Selma to Montgomery march is scheduled for next month in Selma.  This year marks the 51st anniversary of the Bloody Sunday event in 1965.  It comes a year after the massive 50th celebration which saw around 200,000 people attend.  Frank Barragon with the Alabama Coalition of Immigrant Justice says the commemoration inspires all races.  More than 40 activities are planned from March 3rd to Sunday, March 6th.
