Angier Johnson- Foster

Announcer and Host

Angier Johnson, "The Gospel Messenger," has served as the Sunday Morning Gospel host since 1995. Johnson's special blend of contemporary, traditional and vintage inspiration, makes her show a favorite among listeners and internet surfers.

When away from the airwaves, Johnson serves as a Public Information Manager and works in state government service. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Human Resource Management from Faulkner University in Montgomery.

Johnson has been tapped with several nominations and awards. She is active in numerous community outreach efforts and lends herself to many boards and committees. She is an active member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated and member of the United Christian Church where she serves as a Deacon. After a 15-year breast cancer survivorship, Johnson insists that spending time with the three men in her life, husband, Levis Foster and sons Caleb and Peyton Johnson, is a constant reminder of enjoying life and balancing what is truly important.
